Course Structure


Module 1 — IATF 16949:2016 Standard Overview Scope, purpose, relationship with ISO 9001:2015, key IATF requirements, customer-specific requirements (CSRs), and automotive QMS structure.


Module 2 — Automotive Core Tools and Risk Management APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, and SPC overview, product safety requirements, warranty management, field returns, and auditing risk-based processes.


Module 3 — Audit Programme Management Establishing an audit programme, defining scope, criteria and objectives, resource planning, and ensuring auditor independence and objectivity.


Module 4 — Conducting the Audit and Findings Opening and closing meetings, interview techniques, document review, evidence sampling, classifying nonconformities, and writing graded findings.


Module 5 — Reporting, Follow-Up and Practical Simulations Structuring audit reports, root cause analysis, corrective action plans, closing nonconformities, live role-play exercises, and audit report writing with tutor feedback.
